A private airplane ran off the end of a runway on October 3rd, 2017 at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans.
No one suffered any bodily injury as a result of the airplane accident and officials say airport operations are continuing as usual. The airplane did not crash but just went off the airport’s south runway. It wasn’t clear what caused the airplane accident but the National Transportation Safety Board was notified of the incident. The National Transportation Safety Board is a federal agency that investigates every civil aviation accident and serious accidents involving railroads, cars, marine, and pipeline accidents.
As of now, airport operations are continuing as usual and so are private charter flights.
Even small airplane accidents like this can yield personal injuries. If you’ve been in an accident it’s best to talk to an aviation accident attorney to cover your bases.
