Learn More About Brad Schwab

Brad was born and raised in New Orleans. He attended Jesuit High School, Louisiana State University, and then Tulane University Law School.

While in law school, Brad served on the Senior Editorial Board of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, worked as research assistant to Professor A. N. Yiannopoulos, and completed an externship in the chambers of Justice Greg G. Guidry of the Louisiana Supreme Court. He graduated from law school magna cum laude and was awarded a certificate of specialization in admiralty and maritime law.

Following law school, Brad spent the first 12 years of his legal career as a defense attorney representing large corporations and insurance companies in cases involving personal injury, aviation, products liability, and trucking accident claims. During that time, Brad gained valuable insights into how these entities operate and learned that they often prioritize an outcome that saves them the most money over an outcome that is truly just. He eventually began to question the fairness of the system and realized that his true calling was to use his legal expertise to champion the rights of personal injury victims and their families.

Brad now uses his experience as a prior defense lawyer to develop creative legal strategies and advocate on behalf of individuals who have been injured by the negligence or misconduct of others. He strives to ensure that his clients receive appropriate compensation for their losses in all cases, no matter what it takes.

Outside of the courtroom, Brad is a dedicated husband and strong community ally. He and his wife Emma are active parishioners at St. Dominic Church in Lakeview.

Brad is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and Texas state courts, all federal courts in Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
